Creating a Submittal Package

A Submittal Package is used to group related submittals together — typically by specification section, submittal type, or another identifying attribute. This helps organize and manage multiple submittals more efficiently.


Step 1: Navigate to the Submittals Log

  1. Open the project where you want to create the submittal package.
  2. In the project tab, select LogsSubmittals.

Step 2: Create the Package

  1. In the top-right corner, click Create Package.

    Fill out the required fields:

    • Package Number
    • Package Name
  2. From the list of available submittals, select the submittals you want to include in this package.
  3. Click Create Package to finalize.

Step 3: View and Manage Packages

  • To view all existing packages, click on the Packages tab.
  • To open a specific package, click its package name to see a summary of included submittals.

Important Notes

  • A submittal can only belong to one package at a time.
  • If a submittal is added to a new package, it will be automatically removed from its previous package.
  • This ensures each submittal is only associated with a single package for accurate tracking and workflow management.
