Creating a Submittal Package
A Submittal Package is used to group related submittals together — typically by specification section, submittal type, or another identifying attribute. This helps organize and manage multiple submittals more efficiently.
Step 1: Navigate to the Submittals Log
- Open the project where you want to create the submittal package.
- In the project tab, select Logs → Submittals.
Step 2: Create the Package
In the top-right corner, click Create Package.
Fill out the required fields:
- Package Number
- Package Name
- From the list of available submittals, select the submittals you want to include in this package.
- Click Create Package to finalize.
Step 3: View and Manage Packages
- To view all existing packages, click on the Packages tab.
- To open a specific package, click its package name to see a summary of included submittals.
Important Notes
- A submittal can only belong to one package at a time.
- If a submittal is added to a new package, it will be automatically removed from its previous package.
- This ensures each submittal is only associated with a single package for accurate tracking and workflow management.
