Creating a job within a project allows you to assign cost codes, track progress, and organize your preconstruction work more effectively. Follow the steps below to create a project job in Buildend:
Navigate to the Projects section from the main menu.
Select the specific project where you want to create the job.
Click on the Preconstruction tab.
Go to the Jobs section.
On the top right-hand corner, click Create Job.
Enter the following details:
Job Code
Job Name
Description (optional)
Click Next.
Select any or all Cost Codes that should be available for this job.
Click Submit to complete the process.
Once submitted, the job will be listed under the project’s Jobs section and ready for further configuration or assignment.
