Project forms are used to record information within a project. This article explains how to start a new form submission, save it as a draft, and submit a completed form.

  1. Navigate to the project, then go to Logs.

  2. Under the Forms section, locate the form you want to complete.

    • If the form does not appear in the list, it must first be added to the project. Refer to the Adding a Form to a Project article for instructions.

  3. Click the form name to open it. This displays a list of previous form responses.

  4. Select Submit Form.

  5. Choose one of the following options:

    • New Submission to start a blank form.

    • Pre-fill Submission to create a new submission using responses from a previous form, which you can edit as needed.

  6. Complete the form.

    • Every form requires a Form Date.

    • If the form is an equipment form, you must first select Equipment before the rest of the form can be completed or saved.

  7. When you are ready, choose one of the following:

    • Save as a Draft to save your progress and return later.

    • Submit to complete the form.

Important Notes

  • A form can only be submitted after all required fields have been completed.

  • A form can be saved as a draft without completing all required fields, but Form Date must be entered before it can be saved.

  • After a form is submitted, the dialog closes and the list of form responses updates to include the newly submitted response.
